Buyer

Description

The Buyer at Bron Aerotech  will be primarily responsible for ensuring proper inventory flow to support   business and maintaining good vendor relationships with our vendors/ partners. The buyer will report to the Operations Manager and will work with other departments to maintain optimal inventory levels. 

Starting pay up to $26.50 per hour.

Day to day tasks consist of (but not limited to);

· Handling vendor communications

· Material needs planning

· Following up with vendors for updates and lead-times.

· Enters and confirms vendor Purchase   Orders in ERP System

· Entering in purchase orders for both   stocked material and special made material.

· Working closely with CSR team to ensure   proper flow down of customer requirements to our vendors

· Providing updates to the CSR team on   any delays or issues

· Running various procurement reports

· Enters received material into the   system, invoice from vendors 

· Assists with inventory control

· All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

 Skills    

· Aware of statutory and regulatory requirements 

· Intermediate-level in Microsoft applications (outlook, excel, word, etc.)

· Detail oriented to be able review specific customer requirements

· Strong communication skills (verbal, email)

Education and Experience

· High school diploma, college degree preferred 

· 2 years of experience in related field preferred. (Academically or Professionally.) 

· Experience with purchasing for aerospace requirements is highly desirable.

· ERP system (2 years)

· Knowledge of FIFO, a plus
