Responsibilities:
The Department of Population Health at BronxCare Health System is seeking a Director of Ambulatory Nutrition to provide patient care and administrative leadership for our ADCES accredited Diabetes Center of Excellence. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced RD/CDE to lead a team of diabetes educators collaborating with primary care physicians and endocrinologists serving patients in our Bronx community. Our program includes farmers market tours and a community garden project. Participate in diabetes journal club and clinical case conferencing. Opportunities to mentor diatetic interns, medical students and medical residents. Support to pursue grant funded projects and research provided. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree in Food & Nutrition Required. Member of the American Dietetic Association/Commision on Dietetic Registration Required.
