Brookhaven Gastroenterology is seeking a laboratory assistant for our growing pathology lab located in Westhampton. This is a full time, permanent, day position for a motivated individual willing to learn new skills. The ideal candidate needs to have experience working in a lab setting, with clinical lab-histology experience preferred. Must be a quick learner, flexible, have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills. In addition, the position requires a minimum of 60 college credits to include 24 credits in Biology/Chemistry/Lab Sciences.
Qualifications: Minimum: Associates Degree or at least 60 college credits (24 science credits)
Preferred : Experience in a histology laboratory
Hours: Full Time Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m
