Summer Camp Counselor

Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic Camp Counselors to join our team for an upcoming summer camp program. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for campers.

Duties:
- Supervise and engage campers in various activities and games
- Plan and lead educational and recreational programs
- Ensure the well-being and safety of campers at all times
- Assist with meal times, transitions, and daily routines
- Implement behavior management strategies when needed
- Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a positive camp environment

-Be comfortable driving a 15 passenger van for field trips

-Enjoy swimming and lake time

Experience:
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- Background in early childhood education or special education is beneficial
- Previous experience in sports coaching, babysitting, behavior management, or classroom management is advantageous

-Must be over 21, CPR/1st aid certification and pass a background check
