Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) is a multi-disciplinary arts center located in Brooklyn, New York. For more than 150 years, BAM has been the home for adventurous artists, audiences, and ideas—engaging both global and local communities. With world-renowned programming in theater, dance, music, opera, film, and much more, BAM showcases the work of emerging artists and innovative modern masters.
Reporting to the Director of Film Operations, the Associate Director, Front of the House Operations - Cinema will oversee a team of employees, providing them with scheduling, constructive feedback, information, and guidance. They will be responsible for keeping the team motivated and performing at its best and ensure that patrons have a welcoming experience at the BAM Rose Cinema. They will also take a leadership role in the successful execution of weekly film department events and supervise cinema front of house operations daily.

Requires the ability to climb stairs, stand for long periods, and lift/carry 10-15lbs objects.
Please note this position is almost exclusively on-site. A typical work week will be a mix of weekdays afternoons/evenings, and some weekend event supervision. Schedule will vary week-to-week based on activity.
Compensation: The salary for this position is $75,000 - $78,000 per year. This position is full-time, exempt, and eligible for benefits.
