Your Job:


As the Network Operations Analyst, you will support North America transportation strategies and operational execution related to our footwear and apparel sourcing in Asia. The focus of your role is both analytical and operational in nature. You will rely on your analytical skills to understand business problems, identify risks, trends, and opportunities, and make recommendations to reduce costs and optimize transportation processes. You will support the development of new transportation capabilities based on evolving provider services, technologies, or market conditions as needed. On the operational side, you will manage the day-to-day procedures executed by our transportation providers, ensuring that orders are delivered from factories to the North America DCs on time. You will play an active role collaborating with other business functions in supporting supply chain initiatives within the organization.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Drive cross functional collaboration with various business functions to identify end to end process improvements and cost management
  • Utilize analysis of logistics data to identify opportunities to enhance operations by improving vendor delivery, distribution, inventory management, cost, and performance
  • Support projects that contribute to cost optimization in transportation sourcing, operations, and lead time management
  • Engage and build relationships across Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, Product, Supply Planning, Runner Experience, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and partner with DC operations
  • Assist in the training for vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure product moves in compliance with rules and regulations to meet global delivery requirements
  • Serve as point of contact to support implementations and enhancements of carrier and service provider systems, EDI, warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP systems
  • Support Origin Transportation with management of foreign-to-foreign order allocation and delivery schedule with 3PL consolidators for Global Distribution of footwear & apparel purchase and customer orders, as required
  • Oversee Ocean Carriers and NA Port of Entry Providers ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and transportation routing plans
  • Monitor exception reports and resolve issues in collaboration with Brooks’ internal teams and the North America-based transportation providers. Ensure accurate Planning dates and EDI data to support downstream supply chain stakeholders
  • Engage and build relationships with North America transportation providers, acting as Brooks’ representative for day-to-day operational execution. 
  • Develop new and maintain existing logistics performance reporting. Communicate insights to key stakeholders (e.g., sustainable carrier performance, on-time delivery, supply chain KPI, freight cost tracking, etc.)
  • Track product movement and facilitate international shipping for purchases overseas, sold merchandise from US to international locations
  • Audit, research, and approve freight and other related invoice exceptions from logistics service providers in CT Logistics web resolution portal


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, computer science or finance (or equivalent combination of experience), required
  • 3 years of experience in analytics with a focus in international trade, logistics or supply chain
  • Ability to demonstrate strong understanding of international trade
  • Advance knowledge of SQL
  • Experience building data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI
  • Working knowledge of Incoterms and letter of credit
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
  • Understanding and experience operating with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and make effective decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one another
  • Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our products, or other departments’ operations and/or morale; “connecting the dots”

Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $68,635 - $103,004 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
