Pool Time Varied hours per paid period. Varies hours Every other weekend. Pharm. D. or Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 5-year program. Current Florida Pharmacy. Two to Three years hospital experience preferred. The staff pharmacist is responsible for provide comprehensive, patient centered, pharmacy services for assigned areas. Proactively influences medication and use and makes recommendations concerning patient's medications orders for appropriateness of therapy taking into account patient-specific factors, and evaluates patient medication regimens to assure positive patient outcomes including relevant laboratory results and/or procedures. Performs order entry and oversees drug distribution and preparation to assure safety and timeliness. Applicant must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate initiative in a fast pace teaching institution. Supports all JCAHO initiatives and programs and keeps abreast of the changes.
