We are looking for someone who will work in a collaborative manner with area and national leadership to grow drinking water business in the northwest, and serve as a Project Manager, Technical Lead and/or Quality Manager on projects. Detailed Description:
In this role, you will work with a dynamic, thriving team to primarily support drinking water system and facility planning and treatment projects in the Pacific Northwest. There is also an opportunity (based on interest) to support BC’s broader drinking water strategy and strategic pursuits and projects across the country.

Job Expectations:
- Responsible for supporting sales strategy development in alignment and coordination with the Drinking Water Area Practice Leader to grow drinking water services over time.
- Support development, refinement, and implementation of the annual business plan for strategic clients, programs, projects, and conferences.
- Collaborate with the Drinking Water team, Drinking Water Area Practice Leader, Drinking Water Specialty Leaders, and local leaders on regional sales strategy.
- Provide leadership in obtaining and developing new key clients each year in connection with our drinking water strategy and annual planned targets.
- Serve as Client Service Manager for one or more of our most important anchor or growth clients.
- Where appropriate, serve as pursuit leader or sponsor for drinking water pursuits; assist others as needed.
- Support execution of the regional drinking water strategy, including project delivery and staff development (mentorship) roles.
- Manage and execute select drinking water planning and design projects—serving as the Project Manager, Technical Lead, or QA/QC.
- Oversee the work of junior technical staff; provide coaching and mentorship.
- Contribute to development of project approaches to meet specific goals and objectives, including detailed scopes, schedules, budgets, and quality. management plans.
- Engage in PNWS-AWWA, including committee participation, and selectively present at conferences and professional meetings to further represent BC’s brand.
This individual may be based out of the Portland, Seattle, or Boise offices, but location will operate from a combination of remote and office locations.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- This position requires a B.S. degree in the areas of Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering; M.S. preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho, or ability to obtain quickly required. A PE in all three states is not required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in related experience in drinking water planning, design, and implementation.
- Experience and interest in a combination of areas including water planning, water supply, water treatment, design, water quality, regulatory requirements, and/or water infrastructure
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for technical and non-technical audience
- Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, marketing staff, and operations staff, and have excellent organizational, project management, interpersonal and communication skills.
