If you are looking for an entrepreneurial environment where you can learn and thrive, Brown Brothers Harriman is the right place for you Join us as an ERM Analyst Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting an ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) Analyst to join our Operational Risk team. The Risk Analyst role will support core activities of the Operational Risk Pillar within Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Operational Risk manages the Firm’s operational risk program and related platform and polices and performs centralized risk oversight of certain firmwide operational processes. The Risk Analyst must have the ability to work on a variety of activities simultaneously and be able to work effectively across levels, functions, and locations, and in close coordination with their ERM and Systems colleagues, and other control groups. Some of the key responsibilities include: Manage system administration activities covering user access, data uploads, systems archiving, reporting, etc. Review and respond to user inquiries regarding policy requirements and system functionality Support system enhancements by assisting with the design, documentation, and testing of business requirements Analyze system data to assess adherence to workflow and other program requirements Support efforts to enhance risk analytics through implementation of new reporting tools Analyze risk data to identify trends and themes and identify potential areas requiring further in- depth review Prepare senior management reporting of program activities including Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) results, operational risk events, and other risk metrics What We Offer: 2 additional days added to your holiday calendar for Culture Celebration and Community Service Private medical care for you and your family Life Insurance Hybrid Working Opportunities Professional trainings and qualification support Thrive Wellbeing Program Online benefit platform Desired qualifications: BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience required 5 years of relevant work experience Experience working in the financial services industry Strong technical skills, experience with Cognos or other reporting tools a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills, including training and presentations Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Strong interpersonal, relationship, collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while meeting deadlines Understanding of Risk principles and corresponding practices in assessing internal control design and effectiveness Audit, risk management, or operations experience preferred Ability to articulate risk management policies and methodologies Knowledge and appreciation of business concepts and requirements as applicable to a multi-faceted financial services organization.
