POSITION SUMMARY Operations Client Service Representative, Inquiry Response Team, US Tax is responsible for aiding in the resolution of inquiries and investigations. S/he will research and respond to various internal and external inquiries using all available resources. This includes helping to improve inquiry turnaround, analyzing inquiry trends, refining service models, and enhancing information delivery to internal users. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Inquiry Response -Analysis Work with internal BBH users (business lines) and Operations divisions to improve inquiry resolution turnaround and quality. Ensure inquiries are resolved in adherence to the “ideal response” guidelines set out by management. Inquiries should be addressed within specified timeframes and resolved within predetermined turnaround times. Maintain standards and controls over resolution of inquiries. Recommend workflow improvements. 2. Inquiry Response -Service Communicate professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues. Identify client and sub custodian trends and recommend solutions to recurring problems and issues. 3. Client Experience Work directly with key clients to develop client relationships. Educate clients on the CA product and work to reduce inquiries. Perform client specific reporting and/or inquiry resolution. 4. Process Improvement Understands BBH’s Corporate Action systems and workflows and utilizes this knowledge to suggest process improvements that will benefit the department. Understands and suggest process improvements for the Inquiry Response workflow. 5. Risk Management Monitor and assist in the resolution of issues. Escalate in a timely and organized fashion when required. Help to identify and document errors in an effort to reduce exposures. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education level and/or relevant experience(s) College degree or equivalent job experience required. 1 year BBH experience preferably in Operations or minimum of 2 years global transaction processing or related industry experience Knowledge and skills (general and technical) Strong customer service orientation and communication skills, with demonstrated presentation skills and excellent writing ability. Ability to interact in a professional manner at all levels. Aptitude for thorough and timely research, analysis and resolution of a problem. Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills. Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Proactive self starter who is detail and goal oriented. -Strong aptitude for numbers and accuracy. Salary Range $60,000 - $75,000 BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
