Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Team Leader for our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico!
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
Lead and manage the Personal Lines department
Provide feedback and foster growth through measurable goals
Generate annual revenue by cross-selling, account rounding, and creating new business
Meet or exceed annual department customer new business and retention goals
Provide high-level consulting services to customers regarding their insurance coverage
Analyze customer’s loss exposures and determine coverage needs
Remain current on marketplace changes and inform customers as necessary
Manage renewal and marketing activity of the team i.e., expiration and cancellation reports
Assure coverage is in place and gaps in coverage are avoided
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and carriers through phone calls, personal meetings, seminars, etc.
Act as the trainer and mentor to new teammates, assisting with onboarding and ongoing training initiatives
Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown
Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures
Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills
Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality
Other duties as needed
WHAT YOU’LL NEED :
Current New Mexico Insurance License and appropriate Non-Resident Licenses
2 years of management experience
5 years of recent agency experience handling a broad spectrum of personal and commercial lines products and customers
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
Working knowledge of carrier websites (preferred)
College degree, including management courses or the equivalent (preferred)
Experience with Agency Management Software Systems
This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their vehicle or a rental vehicle.
Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position
