What are the responsibilities and job description for the Juvenile Correctional Officer position at Brown County Jail?
The Brown County Sheriff's Department is currently looking for Juvenile Correctional Officers. Duties of a Juvenile Correctional Officer is to perform cell checks, make determinations on Juvenile acceptance/placement, monitor JDC School, serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, escort Juveniles to Court, Recreation, and Dr. Apt, communicate with the jail to avoid adult to juvenile contact. Applicants must be able to make good decisions in stressful situations, help out with jail incidents if needed, and keep a level head.
