Invasive Species Intern (LTE) - Extension

Assists in eradication of various invasive plant species.

This is an LTE position which means there are no benefits given with the role.    

 

Assists in eradicating invasive plant species in Brown County.
 
Assists in mapping of the presence and concentration of invasive plant species in Brown County.
 
Assist in planting native species.
 
Assists in outreach education of invasive plant species. 
 
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
 
Performs related functions as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Pursuing Bachelor's Degree of Science, high school diploma; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
 
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
 
         Knowledge of invasive plant species.
 
         Knowledge of general office procedures.
 
         Knowledge of English, grammar, and spelling.
 
         Knowledge of and ability to utilize a computer and the required software.
 
         Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
 
         Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and the public.
 
         Ability to work the required hours of the position.
