Brown-Daub Dealership has an immediate opening for Level A / Master Technician at our KIA Dealership in Easton, PA

Job Summary: 

Functions as a skilled technician who is able to perform diagnoses and repairs on customer and dealership vehicles and who focuses on fixing it right the first time.

Responsibilities:

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
• Participates in and completes manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
• Keeps up on manufacturer technical bulletins.
• Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean and notifies service advisor immediately of any changes.
• Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
• Must possess and maintain required hand tools.
• Maintain training in accordance with required skill levels.
• Uphold and comply with Customer Care Standards (or current customer related program).
• Comply with manufacturer’s policies and procedures on repairs.

• Maintain a neat and clean work area.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Certificate / License Requirements:

• State Inspection License and State Emission Certification
• Master Certification a plus
• Valid Driver's License
• Manufacturer’s certifications to work on the vehicles a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs to shoulder height.
• Must be able to successfully handle all tools required to perform duties above.
• Must be able to bend down to see under or inside vehicles.
• Must be able to twist and turn as needed to work in, on or about the vehicles.
