What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Brown Empire Deliveries LLC?
We are seeking a professional, hard-working individual with a passion for driving. The successful candidate will have a Class C Driver's License, DOT Medical Card and experience driving a box truck. The ideal candidate will be experienced with loading and unloading trucks, and be comfortable working on an independent schedule. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a company-provided vehicle.
- Know the current street addresses and zip codes of the delivery area.
- Be able to communicate with customers and coworkers.
- Know how to communicate directions to customers.
- Show up on time, every day; and be professional.
- Be able to follow driving directions and understand map symbols.
- Be able to use public transportation systems and basic city street maps.
- Coordinate with other drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Be able to drive in heavy traffic.
- Be able to park safely in a limited amount of space.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
