What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infusion Nurse (RN) position at Brown Neurology?
Brown Neurology is seeking an infusion Nurse (RN) for multifaceted position. 32 hours to start with increase to 40 when needed. Open Mon-Fri, 8-4:30 - no nights, weekends or holidays! . Must have minimum of 3 years nursing experience with excellent IV skills. Preference for home infusion, out-patient infusion and/or ER experience. Ability to multitask and utilize critical thinking skills . Must have a valid RI nursing license. Pleasant work environment, supportive team, appreciative patients!
This RN position will require training in our Providence location, and then split time among our sites (Providence, West Warwick and Smithfield). The goal for this position is lead nurse in our new Smithfield office.
Excellent IV insertion skills and infusion experience are essential. The position may also include assisting with Botox injection and other procedures as needed. The successful candidate will have sharp patient assessment skills with the ability to think and respond quickly to adverse events. Patient advocacy and case management experience helpful as well.

Qualifications and Skills
- must hold a valid RI nursing license as an RN
- minimum of 3 years nursing experience with excellent IV skills
- current CPR certification
