Responsible for the execution and cost of all Capital Projects and/or Maintenance work activities in assigned discipline or work group. Will provide continuous oversight of the maintenance and/or project work execution process to ensure compliance to safety practices, specifications/codes and cost. Will coordinate and interface with other contractors and vendors. Will maintain professional relationship with Construction Engineers, Area Uptime Coordinator, Contract Field Administrator and EPCM group. Will support all improvement initiatives sponsored at the site by either the Client or B&R.
This position will require off-hours and overtime support as needed. Participates in field walks and ensure foreman walk all upcoming tasks to identify full scope of work, material/tool/equipment requirement, hazard identification and mitigation requirements. Provide constructive feedback on work plans and schedules. Participate in planning activities. Provide direction and support to all assigned B&R Foreman and craft personnel when needed.
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Perform all task in a safe, effective and efficient manner. Conduct all interfaces in a professional and ethical manner. Assure all work in conducted to acceptable industry standards.
Training: (Preferred
HSE and Maintenance procedures, Engineering Specifications and Procedures.
Skills: (Recommended) Interpersonal Skills, Computer Software- Microsoft Office, CMMS, ACCESS, Time Management, Customer focus, Strong understanding of DuPont Engineering Specifications, FC&S Procedures, Construction and Maintenance work processes and best practices; Plant procedures, QA Procedures, HSE Procedures, HR Procedure/Practices; OSHA Standards; EPA Regulations. Fundamentals of Crew Leadership, NCCER Project Supervision, NCCER Field Safety & Safety Technology. Planning or Supervisory experience, with a minimum of five (5) years at the Craft level.
QUALIFICATIONS
May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Will plan own work and delegate tasks to foremen/journeyman pipefitters in order to complete tasks in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Will typically report to a Site Manager.
