Alarm Systems /Security Service Technician

Responsibilities include responding to, diagnosing, and resolving service issues on the following equipment: alarm systems, cameras, digital video recorders, access control systems, safes, vaults, ATMs, night depositories, pneumatic drive-up systems and cash dispensers. Training will be provided for the specific products we offer.

The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter, can work independently, and must be able to problem solve and provide solutions. You must also adapt well to a constantly changing schedule. Flexibility with schedule is a key component.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of Customer Service / Field Experience
  • Thorough knowledge of basic electronics, circuitry, and a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with DMP alarm and access systems, Verint and March Networks Digital Video Systems, and Hamilton Safe equipment a plus.
  • Possession of state specific licensing (i.e. Class D or Alarm Installer etc.) or ability to hold license once hired.
  • Willingness and ability to continue education on equipment that we service, through on-site and online training, provided by Brown Security Solutions.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be able to use a computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
