Role Description
We are hiring for multiple full-time hybrid roles for an Associate Attorney at Brown Sims. We have two positions on our insurance defense team, and two on our civil litigation team. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating, and handling various legal matters. The role includes working from the firm's Miami office with flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications
- Admission to the bar in Florida or ability to become admitted within a reasonable timeframe
- For the insurance defense role, we are looking for recent graduates through 3 years of experience
- For the civil litigation role, we are looking for 3-5 years of experience
- Strong background in Law, including Labor and Employment Law
- Experience in providing legal advice, conducting research, and negotiation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
