Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision
- Develop and implement nursing care plans and policies & procedures in collaboration with physicians and healthcare team
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards related to patient care
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Maintain accurate licensure records of nursing staff
- Ensure a high standard of care is provided
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with staff and other healthcare providers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred. ADN plus 3 years of experience to substitute each year of education.
- Valid RN license in the state of practice and current CPR-BLS certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing in a supervisory or management role
- Experience in a non-profit healthcare setting and as a hospital nurse strongly preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
- Proficiency in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
