The Sr Risk Analyst handles all customer inquiries and claims for multifamily and storage unit liability program clients with high volume. POSITION SUMMARY: Handles all customer inquiries and claims for multifamily and storage unit liability program clients with high volume, including: Collecting information from tenants, creating tenant files, and coordinating the submission of claims filing for clients. Tracking payment of claims and ensuring that customers complete the waiver and release paperwork at the resolution of each claim. Manages outside TPA responsible for claims determinations PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares claims reports on monthly and quarterly basis by client Analyzes claims trends and prepares client communications regarding loss mitigation Participates in client training for claims process Various office administrative tasks Provide support to Senior Claims Manager and head of operations team EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience (years and type of experience): 3-5 years of related insurance experience or associated industry experience required 3-5 years experience managing claims with at least 2 years of this experience being property claims KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to oversee third party property adjusters Strong technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions and specific insurance carrier underwriting appetites Ability to analyze complex risk exposures, existing insurance coverages, and develop appropriate recommendations for clients and prospects Ability to work as part of a team of professionals and build relationships with other Firm business segments Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Fast paced multi-tasking environment Some travel may be required IMPORTANT NOTICE: This position description is intended to describe the level of work required of the person performing in the role and is not a contract.
