SITE SUPERVISOR - DISTRIBUTION CENTER
We are looking for a Site Supervisor - Distribution Center, who will report to the Regional Distribution Center Manager - US, and who’ll be tasked with optimizing warehouse activities and managing a team.
As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organization's growth. You’ll be leading the seamless coordination between various departments to meet operational goals at BRP.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :
Lead and develop a team of employees, fostering an inclusive and engaged work environment. Work closely with cross-functional departments, including Human Resources, to hire, retain, coach, and develop employees.
Oversee the day-to-day aspects of warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics. Perform daily GEMBA Walks to observe employees, inquire about their tasks, and identify productivity gain.
Manage process improvement within each department when needed using a Kaizen process approach. Implement LEAN manufacturing principles to increase production, reduce costs, and improve quality through five key principles.
Help manage and educate employees on the 5S principles of a warehouse.
Establish and maintain a strong safety culture within the facility by enforcing safety management plans, training, and processes.
Monitor equipment maintenance to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Champion OSHA compliance and track incidents within markets.
Maintain open and effective communication within and between work groups and departments. Resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Manage Profit and Loss statements based on the complexity and scope of the organization. Make necessary adjustments to ensure financial targets are met.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES :
Required :
5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, warehouse, or related field with 3 years of supervisory experience.
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Proficiency in applying Lean principles, systems, and tools.
Please note, this position may require working occasional weekends, holidays and evenings if needed.
Preferred :
Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
2 years of Profit and Loss management experience
SAP system experience
