Tool Crib Attendant

We are looking for a Tool Crib Buyer & Attendant who will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, and who’ll be tasked with ordering and maintaining inventory for production and maintenance departments. As part of your role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that production continues to run and is never short on parts needed to complete work required, and ordering parts on a consistent basis for engineering and maintenance .

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm Three day weekend!

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Ensure timely replenishment of all plant supplies stocked in BRP Lansing Tool Crib by creating purchase Orders, obtaining proper approvals, delivering purchase orders to appropriate vendors, verifying data on confirmations, and checking for accuracy upon delivery.
• Communicate with vendors, production staff and personnel
• Record keeping for historic documentation of repairs and purchases.
• Attend the needs of all visitors to Tool Crib to provide necessary resources or direction.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of experience in manufacturing
• Organizational skills
• Interpersonal communication skills and ability to maintain vendor relationships

Preferred:

• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
• Purchasing experience
