Overview
To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for our site in Glasgow (UK). As an expert in the field of software development and IT operations you will help us to further improve our software development efficiency and quality by establishing and maintaining respective processes and tools. To smoothly integrate IT operations with software development you will be also part of the product development team. Thus, you will work closely together with other DevOps engineers of our organization, software developers and colleagues from hardware and lab-method development.

Responsibilities
- Together with the DevOps engineering team you are responsible for designing, setting up, operating, and maintaining our future cloud-based development tools and infrastructure
- You analyze current development tools and build/release processes to develop ideas for improvement
- You are working on further automation of our development, quality, and release processes
- As part of a development team, you also participate in the specification and implementation of one of our in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) products
Qualifications
- You have a degree in computer science, or comparable knowledge and skills
- You have knowledge about Linux, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), Config as Code (e.g., Ansible) and container technology (e.g., Docker)
- Specific experience in using Azure DevOps would be a benefit
- Passion for programming (C , Java, or C#) and understanding of software architecture is of advantage
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills are characterizing you
- You can provide creative ideas, align them with the team, and know how to combine this with high quality
- You have excellent communication skills and know how to work in an interdisciplinary team located in different sites
