The Funding Coordinator walks clients through the process of signing their Estate Plan documents, assists clients with funding their Trusts (the process of transferring clients’ assets from them to their trust), and manages the duties to close the client’s file. The Funding Coordinator‘s role is to make sure the client’s case is completed (making sure the clients are held accountable to finish the estate planning process). The Funding Coordinator should be patient, personable, and engaged while being able to keep the clients motivated.
Funding Coordinators perform work under the direction of one or more attorneys in the office. A Funding Coordinator’s primary goal is to support clients and ensure that the plan that the legal team put in place provides the greatest benefit.
