Warehouse Supervisor

For over 60 years, Brunk Plastic Services has been an industry leader as a one-stop shop for diverse plastic services such as pulverizing, compounding, warehousing, packing, rail car storage and bulk transportation. Brunk’s customers are plastic distribution companies, plastic molders (rotational molders), and plastic resin producers. Our three locations in Goshen, IN, Constantine, MI, and Bloomington, MN blanket the Midwest and throughout the country. We are looking for a strong Warehouse supervisor position to lead the activities at our Indiana and Michigan locations. The position reports to our Director of Operations.

Warehouse Supervisor Position

The Warehouse Supervisor position directs and manages all warehouse operations for the Brunk Goshen Indiana and Constantine Michigan locations and its staff of 9 employees.

Responsibilities

· Managing inventory: Overseeing receiving, inventory management, and shipment functions. This includes maintaining accurate records, conducting cycle counts, and resolving any discrepancies.

· Supervising staff: Training new workers and ensuring their performance is meeting our needs and standards.

· Managing railcar pack outs of plastic resin from railcars to boxes or super sacs and un- packing containers back to bulk trucks as required by the schedule.

· Ensuring quality: Ensuring proper documentation of inbounds and outbounds.

· Managing processes: Developing and improving warehouse processes and procedures including working within our ERP PLEX and our critical bar-coding procedure.

· Collaborating: Collaborating with the customer service team, manufacturing, accounting and other departments.

· Safety: Making sure the team adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.

· Setting the shift schedule and daily assignments, including moving people as needed between Goshen and Constantine

· Tracking in-bound and out-bound inventory

· Ordering new supplies and equipment

· Maintaining warehouse equipment

· Confirming proper and timely delivery of products

· Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity

· Managing the profitability of the warehouse

· Communicating capacity constraints to management

· May have to perform/support actual warehouse functions as needed.
