Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Unit Director, perform nursing patient care duties for the assigned unit or department. Plan, provide, and evaluate total nursing care in accordance with the established patient care philosophy. Facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Relate effectively with other shifts for continuity of care, maintain satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units; and participate in all phases of education.

Responsibilities: :
- Run IVs, observe vital signs, and operate heart monitors.
- Exercises Sound Clinical Judgment.
- Conducts accurate clinical assessments according to practice standards.
- Identifies and prioritizes patient and family needs.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates the nursing plan of care. Modifies plan to meet clinical outcomes.
- Works collaboratively and interdependently with colleagues and the community to develop and implement an integrated plan of care. Open and sensitive to all team member's unique contributions. Delegates tasks and care to appropriate staff and ensures timely follow-up.
- Interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of constituencies.
- Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- - 1 - 2 years previous ER or ICU experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Handle with Care Certification within 6 months
- Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wyoming
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- PALS within 6 months of hire
