Description

BryComm is seeking a Technician I for our Security Division. This role will be responsible for installing network based physical and electronic security systems.

Responsibilities

• Security system installation, programming, configuration and troubleshooting on industry leading video surveillance and access control platforms
• Program alarm system components, DVR, NVR, software
• Install, program, and service intrusion detection devices and systems
• Provide prompt responses to customer service requests

Requirements

• Own or be able to purchase the following basic hand tools (DRILL, SNIPS, SCREDRIVERS)
• No experience to limited experience
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools to perform assigned job site tasks
• Understanding of safety as it relates to each division and the use of appropriate safety measures in daily tasks
• Punctuality and consistent daily attendance
• Demonstrated ability to ask applicable questions and willingness to learn new skills
• OSHA 10

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• Familiar with Construction, Electrical, or other tradecrafts

Physical Requirements

• Able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
• Able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, and climb
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Hutto, TX 78634: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
