Credentialing Specialist, Medical Staff Office, Full-Time, Days

BSA Health is an extensive hospital system providing clinical excellence to the Texas Panhandle and the Tri-State area. BSA is acclaimed for its superior quality and customer service.


Responsibilities

The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for:Credentialing and Privileging of assigned practitioners for BSA Health System including ADC Endoscopy, BSA Hospital, BSA Provider Network, and Physicians Surgical Hospitals to ensure that all compliance and regulatory standards are met. Also performs general to advanced clerical duties utilizing Microsoft Office software and specialized computer applications. Makes recommendations, revisions, or corrections as needed and completes assignments in a timely manner.


Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some college education in business related field
  • Credentialing experience in a hospital or managed care setting
