Estimator Detailer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Estimating

• Tracks projects leads via various sources, and secures bid documents
• Based on drawings, specifications and established materials pricing, the estimator determines quantities and assigns costs to the various physical components of the opportunity.
• Prepares the appropriate bid form/scope letter for the project, including the correct, final base bid price, alternate prices, inclusions, exclusions, color information and other qualifications that may be necessitated by the project.
• Once a purchase order or subcontract agreement has been received, it is the estimator’s responsibility to verify that it is complete and correct, then enter basic information for sales orders.

Detailing

• Using the estimate and submittal information, generates the manufacturing instructions and purchasing requirements to create an accurate and complete sales order.
• Works & communicates with all project stakeholders to assure success of project.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Associates Degree in Construction Management or related field OR one year of experience estimating, reviewing, and submitting projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CAD experience and proficiency strongly preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per hour
