The Transformation team is responsible for improving the lives of those we serve by making the extremely complex, absurdly simple. The Product Manager, Principal will report to the Senior Manager of End-to-End Provider Experience Transformation. In this role you will be responsible leading our critical strategies to drive improved quality of interactions, overall engagement quality and improving member satisfaction across the entirety of their experiences. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver that can breakdown complexity and address challenges by designing innovative, scalable, flexible, and sustainable solutions. Operating cross functionally, they will manage and lead success criteria, while establishing a strong community of practice and standards that can be leveraged across the transformation portfolio in its entirety. They will need to have proven business process, analytical, financial skills, and agile experience. Ability to think big and execute flawlessly is critical to be successful in this role.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
Operate at a strategic business level to ensures projects/programs are in line with Blue Shield of California strategic goals
Consult with all levels including senior management, make recommendations, and influence decision-making
Leverage cross-functional internal and external relationships to drive initiatives forward
Plan and implement multiple and extremely complex projects/programs spanning across business areas
Determine key business issues, develop effective action plans and implement to successful conclusion
Manage end-to-end member experience transformation strategies to ensure incremental and iterative value creation for members.
Break down epics to own agile milestones, including prioritization with the provider portfolio.
Write and review detailed user stories and acceptance criteria covering multiple user-types.
Utilize product management tools to create, manage, and groom team backlog.
Develop product roadmap by achieving alignment with key stakeholders, support by needed data/analytics to inform experience decisions and show measurable outcomes of agile releases.
Enables robust, agile methodology for reporting against objective and key results (OKR) across the portfolio.
Drive cross portfolio prioritization efforts, ensuring detailed timelines, outcomes, dependencies, and owners are traceable.
Deliver and execute on program management best practices, including, but not limited to highlights, scorecards, cost/benefit tracking, resource tracking, risk tracking, deliverable tracking and more.
Partner with internal stakeholders to continuously enhance and/or modernize execution strategy and approach.
Create and manage centralized reporting repository to manage delivery and execution of transformation goals and objectives.
Implement best practices and cultivate needed change in mindset, approach, and execution.
