Your Role

The Medical Care Solutions Technical Communications team creates and maintains procedural documentation to support staff members, trainers, auditors, and project teams. The Technical Communicator, Experienced will report to the Manager, Technical Communications. In this role, you will assist with business analyst responsibilities by monitoring incoming document requests for timely assignment and responding to general support requests. You will assist senior writers with completing document requests and independently complete document special requests to update content throughout the library.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for monitoring incoming and updating document requests to ensure timely assignment
  • Answer inquiries for update statuses on technical communication assets (e.g., desk level procedures) 
  • Assist other technical communicators with creating and updating technical documentation
  • Create and maintain documentation in accordance with established standards
  • Work with selected individuals, throughout the organization to build trusted and trusting relationships and facilitate document work
  • Work with MCS trainers and auditors to ensure documentation meets training delivery and internal auditing needs
  • Manage timelines and communication for assigned document requests
