You will create, conceive and execute content and copy for BSN SPORTS direct-to-coach email campaigns, BSN blog, BSN corporate and sports-specific social media, and other digital media platforms. In this role, you should be a strong communicator and writer, highly creative and must have a passion for sports, understanding the customer (the coach), and storytelling. Developing content for our email and CRM program will be your #1 priority; working collaboratively with the Marketing, Category, Digital Marketing, and Creative building over 1000 campaigns targeted towards coaches across all sports. You will be the content curator for BSN, identifying opportunities in the market to elevate and feature coaches, PE teachers, trainers, Athletic Directors, and mentors who are part of the sports community and have a positive impact on athletes lives across the nation. You will build engaging and inspiring articles, features and video's to be shared across BSN's channels to increase social engagement, brand awareness, digital footprint, improve SEO and most importantly, grow our community to increase sales leads. You will be leading the charge building BSN's authentic voice and support for coaches to help grow our online audience and customer base by providing regular, relevant and helpful content that meets our customers' needs and interests. Responsibilities: Produce a wide range of content to support Marketing and Sales Ideate, create and assist in distribution of content including blog posts, emails, video scripts, press releases, thought leadership, website copy, social media copy, ad copy and more. Proofread and copyedit materials before publication to ensure quality of content as well as alignment BSN SPORTS tone of voice. Responsible for all email campaign copywriting output working in collaboration with Creative Team, Marketing Managers and providing critical feedback on creative Solid understanding of email, PPT, graphic design, video editing and social media to optimize content in an engaging way and leads a consumer to an action or understanding Execute overall editorial calendar for BSN SPORTS blog in collaboration with Marketing team Grow online audience and customer base by providing regular, relevant and helpful content that is authentic to the brand and drives strong engagement and action among our customers Responsible for the ideation and creative execution of feature stories, interviews, and video content by identifying relevant topics, influencers, events, teams, coaches, athletes, and schools to be researched, interviewed and featured on BSN platforms Strong collaboration with Category Managers, Brand Ambassadors, Creative Team, Digital Marketing and Sales Pro's on the delivery of content, campaigns, and strategy Responsible for helping achieve superior customer loyalty, drive website traffic, interaction and build a conversion to the next stage that creates revenue Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism, Marketing, Media or equivalent work experience Strong copywriting skills -- emails, A/B testing copy, copy editing, blogs, copy, website and social (paid and organic) content Email marketing and campaign building experience -- testing subject lines, positioning, formatting and copywriting Creative Management -- ability to provide creative feedback, own brand tone/image and bring to life a full campaign Interviewing skills --ability to interview coaches, athletes, trainers, subject matter experts and create multiple content pieces as a result Social media -- experience in managing multiple social media accounts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn; planning and curating content Video production -- some understanding in video production, video editing, storyboards, creative treatments, copy development, image selection, photography Minimum 2 years experience producing written content for digital channels and growing an audience Required to submit writing and email copywriting of your own work, upon request Preferred Qualifications: Experience in technical writing, journalism or media (traditional or digital) with sports-focus 2 to 3 years in a copywriting or content creation role, specific to email copywriting About BSN SPORTS: BSN SPORTS prides itself in its value system of heart, integrity, teamwork and resourcefulness.
