Work Summary:
Under general supervision, performs para-professional work in assisting with the development and implementation consumer’s individual plans. Documentation of behavioral and service objectives as established in the PSP team. Possesses skills necessary to work with individuals with aggressive and/or self-abusive behaviors in a responsible care-giving style. Will be responsible for maintenance of assigned work area. BSW, Inc. operates on the philosophy of Zero Tolerance for Abuse and Neglect and any such occurrence will be reported according to policy. Will maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving in a professional and courteous manner with consumers, families, guardians, advocates, co-workers and other service providers. Must be able to lift/carry 20 pounds or more. Driving route will be required as well as back up transportation as needed.
Hours of Work: Monday through Friday 8am-4pm
Wage: $13.47/hr.

Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Two (2) years experience working with persons with special needs preferred
3. Valid Montana Driver’s License and the ability to be covered by BSW, Inc. insurance.
4. Willingness to attend specialized trainings as mandated by BSW.
5. Maintain required certifications.
