What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Engineering Technician (Remote) position at BU_HS, Raytheon Technologies?
Position Overview:
Act as liaison with engineering and production on incorporating changes to work/assembly instructions which improve manufacturability.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain work instruction revision control.
- Run and hold creation, execution, and maintenance.
- Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control through the application of Lean principles.
- Determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow and establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- Basic understanding and application of Industrial Engineer principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Technical problem definition and solution in a manufacturing environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- OR In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work with minimal oversight.
- Self-motivated individual with a track record to have internal drive to begin and continue tasks.
