What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Test Technician - 1st Shift - **SIGN ON BONUS - $1,000 position at BU_HS, Raytheon Technologies?
The Electronics Test Technician is an integral part of the manufacturing team and performs acceptance testing on complex avionics equipment to ensure products meet quality specifications. Technicians will engage in fault isolation for test failures and verification of repairs while working with engineers to help determine data trends and improvements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform testing using DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators, high frequency power supplies, spectrum analyzer, etc.
Collect, document, and report on tests performed
Evaluate test results
Ability to read complex electronic schematics, analyze circuits and follow written work instructions
Employ a comprehensive knowledge of electronic theory
Basic troubleshooting and problem solving
Capability of working independently as well as in a group setting
Basic Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED is required. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must pass the Certified Electronics Technician Associate test from Electronics Technicians Association - International.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have ability to read complex electronic schematics, analyze circuits and follow written work instructions
Must be able to lift/carry equipment or parts up to 55 lbs.
This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
