Corporate Legal Assistant

Description

We are seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant to support our San Diego office.  Candidates must have extensive, recent experience working with corporate/transactional documents in a law firm environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to, typing, formatting and redlining corporate/transactional legal documents; preparing closings; document comparison, transcription and proofreading; answering phones; entering attorney time; preparing and distributing client bills; managing calendars, travel arrangements and expense reimbursements along with other general secretarial duties and projects as assigned.

This position requires a professional, organized self-starter with the ability to interact with staff and clients at all levels in a fast-paced, challenging legal environment.  A proactive work ethic, the ability to anticipate needs, strong decision making skills, attention to detail, and a flexible schedule are a must.

Pay Scale: The reasonably expected pay scale for this position is $80-95k.  This is an employer estimate and the salary offered within that range, and the potential for bonus and bonus amount, will depend on candidate’s years of practice and experience and performance.
