JOB TITLE: Broadband Greeter
DIVISION: Sales Operations

JOB SUMMARY
- The Broadband Greeter is responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests in our Buckeye Broadband stores, and throughout the community at events. These individuals have the ability to influence the overall brand experience by their interactions, including offering promotional recommendations. Greeters may be the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction.
- The Broadband Greeter reports directly to the assigned Supervisor, Retail Sales. There are no reports to this position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Broadband Greeter accountable for:
- Receiving and greeting all walk-up customers and providing guidance in using the queuing system, as well as payment machines;
- Communicating 100% accurate information to customers regarding general information about our products, services, and the company;
- 100% accuracy on all work performed;
- Warm hand off of every customer to Broadband Experience Consultant;
- Servicing customers efficiently and thoroughly in a positive manner as outlined by Retail Management;
- Insuring the confidentiality of all customer information;
- Working continuously with co-workers as a team to achieve the goals of Retail Management;
- Using their own good judgment when servicing the needs of our customers;
- Actively promoting the sales and retention of the Company’s services to our customers;
- Performance of assigned duties that are within acceptable margins of the department’s goals;
- Actively pursuing the unauthorized use of the Company’s products and services;
- Meeting the standards set forth by Retail Management;
- Use of professional speech and a pleasant tone with all customer interactions;
- Verbalize an interest and commitment to meeting goals of Buckeye Broadband through assisting customers;
- Attendance at monthly department trainings and team meetings as assigned by the Retail Management Team;
- Accurately recording time sheets and notifying Supervisor when late for work as outlined in the attendance procedure;
- Keep the stores neat and organized;
- Data Entry tasks as assigned;
- Following and enforcing the Company’s policies and procedures, including the EEO guidelines and safety, at all times;
- Performing any miscellaneous department duties as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent – required
- Previous experience in a customer facing service environment – required
- Must be able to pass our comprehensive background and drug screen - required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
May include walking, kneeling, standing, stooping, sitting, driving, climbing, hearing, talking, use of hands and fingers, vision. Light lifting of 25 lbs. may be occasionally needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- The Broadband Greeter is a non-exempt, hourly position. The regular working hours may vary to accommodate the needs of the department including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
- The Broadband Greeter may be assigned at any Buckeye Broadband location, overtime as assigned and lunch and dinner breaks are assigned daily.
- Due to the Company’s need to provide consistently high-quality customer service and employee reinforcement training, the Company, as a standard practice, periodically monitors the conversations between Greeter and the lobby customers.
- In performing the essential job functions, the Broadband Greeter works with various office equipment including, but not limited to, telephones, personal computers, printers, fax machines, paper shredders, and copy machines.
- The Company is a drug-free workplace. All employees are required to adhere to the Company’s drug-free workplace programs and policies. Pre-employment testing is mandatory along with random testing throughout continued employment.
