Buckeye Forest of Rosemount is currently seeking night shift full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN's).

Position Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under direct supervision using the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, Practice Guidelines, and nursing judgment.

Responsibilities & Duties of the Licensed Practical Nurse LPN:

The ideal candidate works well in a team-like atmosphere, who exhibits excellent patience and compassion to all residents in his/her care. We are invested in maintaining exceptional customer service and our residents’ wellbeing is our top priority. Our ideal candidate has experience in:

Overseeing multiple units within a skilled nursing facility

Overseeing multiple employees within a skilled nursing facility

Delivering quality nursing care to patients

Collecting patient data

Making daily resident observations

Reporting pertinent information to the care of patients

Working together with other staff in a cohesive, team-like environment

Direct and supervise other nursing staff members as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must be a caring individual, dedicated to providing high quality care to residents in our facility.

Must work well with other staff but able to work independently.

Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN in Ohio

Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.

Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
