Summary
The Men’s Buying Support position will assist the Buying Team in the preparation and follow-through of the approval and fit areas of the buying process.
Special Hours Required:

- Demonstrate an understanding of the Buckle image, philosophy and goals in order to promote that image to Guests and Teammates.
- Assist with the preparation and follow-up of the selection of product and the placing of buys for a respective category.
- Coordinate sample areas, make approvals and/or suggestions for better flow and improved organization.
- Possess basic knowledge of office/computer programs and store knowledge.
- Generate store reports.
- Accurately create, update, and manage purchase orders to ensure all entries comply with company procurement policies and guidelines.
- Assist in coordinating packages and/or samples being sent to the office for review.
- Maintain fit data spreadsheet and ensure data is communicated to corresponding vendors and to Product Development Support Teammates.
- Maintain professional communication and work closely with internal Teammates.
- Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years Buckle experience or one year buying/merchandising experience preferred.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and complete errands based on business needs.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate regularly works in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
