Summary
The Store Designer I provides store concept work, design development drawings and construction documents for open store remodels, new store construction and full store remodels and provides direct support to the Operation teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop concept work for all brick-and-mortar stores.
- Investigate and problem solve for permitting and developer requirements.
- Communicate and collaborate with outside consulting professionals, developers, and jurisdictional code authorities daily and present due diligence reports to the Design Team.
- Maintain electronic project files and provides project-drawing distribution to vendors, code authorities, outside consultants, and General Contractors.
- Demonstrate knowledge of procedures to produce design development and construction drawings.
- Demonstrate knowledge of computer assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup Pro & Revit.
- Capable of completing assignments within allotted timeframes and budgets.
- Work collaboratively with all Operations Department Teams.
- Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of Guest service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field from four-year college or university; or two years related experience working with a registered architect or engineer; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
