**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in hygiene/coronal polishing, orthodontics and at times assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure excellent patient care.

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare patients for dental work

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Take and develop dental X-rays

- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

- Maintain accurate patient records

-Coronal polishing

**Experience:**

- Experience with X-Ray procedures

- Proficient in infection control procedures

- Familiarity with pediatric dental procedures

- Knowledge of aseptic techniques

- Understanding of dental systems and processes

- Strong anatomy knowledge for dental procedures

- Ability to manage medical records efficiently

- Experience with Epic or similar medical software for documentation

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
