Overview:
As an Account Manager in the transportation sector, you'll be responsible for fostering and managing client relationships within the transportation industry. You will play a vital role in understanding client needs, providing exceptional service, and driving revenue growth while ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients in the transportation industry. Understand their needs, challenges, and objectives to offer tailored solutions and maximize client satisfaction.
Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within the transportation sector, leveraging existing relationships and networking to expand the client base. Develop and execute strategies to acquire new accounts and drive revenue growth.
Account Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, operations, and sales, to ensure smooth execution and delivery of transportation services. Coordinate effectively to meet client expectations and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
Strategic Planning: Develop account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify areas for growth and improvement.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients to ensure mutual benefit and profitability while aligning with company goals and standards.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Relevant industry experience can be substituted for formal education.
Proven experience in account management or sales within the transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry.
Strong understanding of transportation services, industry trends, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
