As a Counter Agent, you will be focused on interacting with customers, managers and coworkers in a professional, courteous manner. Multitask and prioritize effectively. Possess the energy and drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines, and find solutions .

Essential responsibilities:

• learn about the customer's rental needs; work to upgrade them to a more premium vehicle as well as emphasize optional features and benefits that will enhance their experience

• review rental parameters with all customers to ensure understanding of rates, return date and times, optional charges, and other services

• answer questions, offer directions and local area information

• resolve customer service issues in a fair and equitable manner to ensure continued customer loyalty

• provide excellent customer service in all customer contact situations

• communicate via telephone in a pleasant and supportive manner

• perform other job duties as assigned to meet the business needs

Requirements

• must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States

• must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years

• hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check and drug screen

• standing for an extended period of time with regular stretching, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling and walking in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance

• must be able to work weekends and holidays

• strong verbal and written communication skills

• high school diploma or G.E.D

• ability to manage stressful or unusual situations to maintain good customer service

• minimum 1-year customer service or sales experience

• previous detail or car wash experience preferred
