SUMMARY This position is responsible for the creation and business development of corporate store outreach and grassroots marketing strategies for the Memphis market for the purpose of driving new guest acquisition and brand awareness as well as the coordination, staffing, and execution of all outreach/marketing events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing and Coordinating Fundraisers with local schools, churches, and 501(c)(3) organizations in conjunction with our Buff Gives Back program inclusive of hosting fundraising nights in stores.
Manage and liaise all donation inquiries, including managing all tax paperwork and donation budgets for each store.
Identify, track, and network with local businesses for partnership and business development.
Coordinate and execute all influencer relationships, partnerships, and brand promotions on all assigned regional corporate store social media pages.
Run all corporate store social media, updating consistently with local events and marketing efforts.
Schedule, plan, and attend all market events such as bridal shows, expos, fun runs, etc.
Conduct brand outreach via sampling events and track KPI’s to monitor and replicate outreach success routines.
Act as an ambassador for the company through local promotion and brand education.
Create content for social channels.
Achieve monthly/quarterly targets and objectives as aligned with the executive team each month.
Collaborate cross-functionally to understand individual store needs and determine marketing/outreach solutions that align with brand guidelines.
Ensure that all assets adhere to brand standards.
Participate in brainstorming from increasing individual store traffic to campaigns.
Work on any task and help solve problems — be humble and scrappy.
Review designs for errors before sending to external vendors or internal partners to publish.
Communication with Regional Director, Marketing and store operators regarding revisions, prep, and timelines.
BASIC & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience (1 years) as a Marketing Specialist or similar role
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Visual Communication or a related field required
Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of marketing projects, showcasing creativity, technical skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Strong interpersonal communication and networking skills – building brand awareness and community trust is key!
Willingness to deliver quick turnaround requests.
Salesmanship: Flexibility to change approach, confidence in overcoming objections, and ability to adapt and recognize ways to capitalize on marketing efforts.
Passion for learning new techniques to continue to push the brand and create innovative designs.
Ability to work as an individual or as a team member.
Strong collaboration and time management skills
Positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
High levels of attention to detail.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & TRAVEL
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing for extended periods
Ability to use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods
Travel: 80% (locally) to stores in the Memphis Market
