Buffalo County is hiring for a full-time Maintenance Technician to work at our Courthouse located in Alma, WI
Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is to maintain the building and grounds of the Buffalo County Courthouse providing a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for guests and employees.
Minimum Training, Experience, and Qualifications Required to Perform Essential Job Functions:
- High School degree required; post-secondary education in maintenance, electrical, plumbing and/or HVAC highly preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in facilities maintenance, operation/maintenance of low-pressure boilers, HVAC maintenance/troubleshooting, and/or general janitorial and maintenance procedures.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Basic computer skills.

Compensation:
This is a salaried non-exempt position with a starting wage of $21.60 to $22.60 per hour depending on candidate qualifications and experience.
Work Hours:
This position will work from 7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Friday. At times, adjusted hours will be required.
