New team member will be full time at 40 hours a week with paid benefits.

The ideal candidate is a highly technical, hard worker, who pays close attention to detail while demonstrating outstanding communication skills.

Our new team member will have:

• Patience and focus for doing data entry on thousands of retail locations
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint
• Extensive and demonstrable experience with Excel, MS Access or other database software
• Ability to communicate effectively, make independent decisions within established guidelines, policies and procedure, and maintain confidentiality
• Web scraping applications and/or methods a plus
• Quantitative market research experience using survey software applications such as QuestionPro or Qualtrics

Education:  BA or BS degree with 2  years of experience including potential experience in any of the following areas:  Data entry, data management, retail merchandising, market research, survey research or coding.

Experience and Education include:

• Traditional market research especially survey research and analysis
• BA/BA Marketing, Business, or Statistics preferred
• 2 years related marketing research experience (supplier or client side)
• Proficiency in survey software programming, (such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey)
• Experience in survey design, tabulation, and analysis
• Strong skills in Microsoft Suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Comfortable managing multiple projects & deadlines
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable engaging with internal partners and external clients
• MBA/Masters Marketing Research or Statistics a plus

Database Collections & Management: Ongoing database collection, data entry and development for internal locational databases.

• Updating individual retail and sports facility location records in spreadsheets and databases via internet research is one of the two key focuses for this position. Maintain and update specialty retail and facility data daily/weekly as necessary providing our clients timely information for their appropriate industry.
• To offer competitive retail set analysis, the collected data provides our clients with facility facts, locations, products and services and offers a view into the local market dynamics. The retail analysis is often extended regionally and/or nationally. Manage retail ratings system (A,B,C) data for specialty sports stores to include golf, hiking, camping, health clubs, and country clubs. Stores and shops are given a specific rating based on dollar revenues, retail expertise, and investment. A rating may also take into account the facility retail square footage. This information offers our clients valuable insight into their competitive retail business and the wholesale landscape for manufacturers.
• Research Team Project Management and Supportincludes internet research, industry trade reports, company earnings reports, Qualitative project management, and feedback of consumer information.

Work will begin remotely.

Salary Range:$50k - $60k
