What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Estimator position at Buffalo Hardware?
WE ARE SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED ESTIMATOR
You will be a key component to our building materials team!
In this position, you will work closely with contractors to evaluate costs and the time frame of projects. You will perform calculations, and get quotes from vendors, to estimate the cost of materials needed for a project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis.
- Prepare material and cost estimates for the product or service.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors.
SKILLS
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret technical documents.
- Analyze data to develop estimates.
- Written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Time management skills.
