We’re looking for an Audio Producer-Editor!
What you’ll be doing:
The Audio Producer/Editor is responsible for recording, editing, and delivering local, national, and digital audio interstitials for our family of stations. This individual is also responsible for audio post-production of podcasts and field sound recording for video shoots. This position can be hybrid – a blend of remote and in-office work. In summary, this individual will:
- Record, edit and deliver underwriting and promotional spots as requested
- Edit post-production of all assigned audio productions
- Edit and package digital audio content for a variety of distribution platforms including radio broadcast, online streaming, social media channels, and apps
- Collaborate with program producers to understand production requirements
- Facilitate recordings of voiceovers and coach talent for recordings
- Organize and manage needed media and materials used in post-production
- Provide quality control throughout the entire production and post-production editing process
- Collaborate with multiple departments throughout the production process
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of associate degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) in film/media or sound production, or related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an audio editor working on a variety of digital and broadcast productions
- Skilled in audio production and editing software such as Adobe Audition; Adobe Suite preferred
- Exceptional project and time management skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects
- Familiarity of current and emerging digital and social platforms
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office or similar programs
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be well organized and capable of working independently
- Contributes to the team positively and professionally; collaborates and communicates well with all levels of the organization
- Stays current on new trends and technologies related to audio post-production
- Willingness to learn and comply with FCC regulations/best practices

Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position and starting pay will be based on education, experience and interview. Starting range: $19.33 to $24.16/hr.
