Title: Service Manager/Kitchen Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Position Summary: The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including overseeing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing finances, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Ensure that all guests receive excellent service by monitoring and coaching staff.
Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies.
Monitor and control financial performance, including sales, labor, and food costs.
Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales.
Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement long-term goals for the restaurant.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service
Proficient in financial management and budgeting
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work well under pressure.
High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
