Title: Service Manager/Kitchen Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Position Summary: The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including overseeing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing finances, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure that all guests receive excellent service by monitoring and coaching staff.
- Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies.
- Monitor and control financial performance, including sales, labor, and food costs.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement long-term goals for the restaurant.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service
- Proficient in financial management and budgeting
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
